PROJECT OVERVIEW |
In light of a proposed redevelopment, Marycrest Land LLC contracted Historitecture in May 2012 to document the Marycrest Motherhouse, Francis House, and the cultural landscape of the former Marycrest Convent site, in north Denver, according to Historic American Building Survey Colorado Level II standards per History Colorado guidelines. This documentation included a written history of the buildings, photographic prints, and measured drawings. Historitecture also prepared an interpretive display explaining the history of the Marycrest campus, including the Motherhouse, Francis House, and cultural landscape. The display was installed in Claver Hall, at nearby Regis University, for a one-year period, then donated to the Western History Collection, Denver Public Library. |
